Boundaries

I wanted the work to hold its meaning at the edge rather than in the center. The materials are concentrated around the perimeter so the interior can stay open and unresolved. For me, that space isn’t empty — it’s where the viewer enters. The surface carries pressure and touch, while the boundary does the work of holding everything together.
